Dudley Kingsnorth has over 40 years experience in the international mining industry through positions that he has held in operations, project development, marketing, consulting and business development. In 1988 he received the Confederation of Western Industry Individual Export Award for his contribution to the development of the lithium market.
Dudley is recognised as a world authority on the rare earths market and rare earths project development through his 25 year association with the industry, initially as Project Manager of the Mt Weld Rare Earths Project and over the past 16 years as an independent consultant to the industry. He was the author/editor of the previous four editions of the Roskill report on rare earths. Dudley has given many key note addresses to international rare earths conferences, including the EU/Australia Rare Earths Conference in The Hague in December 2010, the International Rare Earths Forum in Baotou in August 2012, the Freiberg Strategic Raw Materials Symposium in April 2012, the ERECON Meeting in Milan in 2014 and to many Metal Events Rare Earths Conferences. Dudley was Chairman of the first Critical Minerals Conference held in Perth, Australia in June 2013. He has provided advice on rare earths to several government agencies worldwide.
In 2012, Dudley was appointed a Professor at Curtin Graduate School for Business at Curtin University in Western Australia where he has prime responsibility for establishing The Critical Materials Initiative.
